The holiday
let of "Camus Edge" is to be found in an area of beautiful
scenery called Waternish, a peninsular in the north of Skye.
Waternish,
although somewhat isolated (from the rest of the world) does
have a vibrant and welcoming community.
Here are a
few links to show you what the area has to offer.

And how to get there?
If
you cross to Skye via the bridge (about an hour more to Camus Edge? )
turn right at the roundabout
and take the road towards Portree. In the heart of the Black Cuillins at
the Sligachan Hotel,
turn left towards Dunvegan. A mile before Dunvegan take the right
turn signposted Portree (this is a single track road and passing places
must be used) and then a further right, again signposted Portree a
couple of miles later.
At the next junction (Faerie Bridge), a left turn takes you onto the
B886 to Waternish.
Camus Edge is the 3rd property on the left after passing the WATERNISH
sign..

En-route to Skye you should
consider whether you require provisions as shopping is limited
in the north of Skye although Portree now boasts a fine new Co-op store.
Local shopping can also be found
at Dunvegan where you will find a mini-mart,
a fine health food shop, greengrocers, bakers, garage & newsagents.
